We consider Deep Preparation being the stage you are in when you are doing intensive professional learning of not only the leadership team, but a significant number (if not all) of your teachers and administrators.
Literacy leaders in this phase are guiding many cohorts through deep Science of Reading professional learning, either through a product independent professional learning experience and/or adopting a structured literacy based Tier I curriculum and using the professional learning of the curriculum to be the base of their learning.
